2019 RETIREMENTS

Two of the stalwarts who have guided the Cougars throughs the highs and lows of the twenty tens both on and off the field have decided to to past the tourch to a new generation. ALAN TYLER who presided as president of Carlisle AFC for over a decade has decided to step down to take on new opportunities away from football. While BAYDEN DREW who has instilled the virtues of hard work and perserverance in all who he lead on the field each week also winning multiple premierships along the way has decided to step away from the capataincy role to focus on his family. Carlisle thank both these life members for there tireless efforts in making the club what it is today and wish them the best in their endevours.

CLUB CAPTAINS 2019

The new look Carlisle Cougars for 2019 were presented to members and partners at major sponsor the Broken Hill Hotel. Coaches for all 4 grades were announced ADAM HUNTER, PAUL ELISSEOU, RHYS EDMONDSON, and BRAD HIGGINS. Head Coach Adam Hunter address the room explaining the goals and ethos behind the cougars as well as naming the club captains and leadership group. For a first at the Cougars there will be duel captains in 2019 with life member BAYDEN DREW joined by RHYS EDMONDSON. Also congratulations to KANE SCUDDS and JED EDWARS named as reserves and colts captain respectively.

Rottnest Runners

Congratulations, to our current and past players for completing the Rottnest half marathon over the weekend. Past player LUKE SUTHERLAND (left) came in 1st place hitting an incredible time of 1.22.00 whilst DANIEL GRILJUSICH (middle) came 3rd overall at 1.23.00. JORDAN GRILJUSICH (right) came a respectable 48th at 1.50.02, which is also an incredible achievement for his first attempt. We are all very proud of your efforts fellas. Well done!

Cougars For Life

Congratulations, to our newest life members SAM GLAZBROOK, BRAD HIGGINS and ADAM CRISP. Also, thanks to the current life members for their continuing support to make the Carlisle Football Club such a great organisation.
